How The VR Tours Were Used: The virtual tours were used for marketing and to pre-sell luxury properties on land owned by the developer. The virtual reality tours were used at conferences to show the homes to prospective buyers and investors.
The Homes: The virtual reality tours were used to demonstrate luxury homes selling from $500,000 - $2 million each.
The Result: The owner of Bay Creek Development was so impressed with the result that he has decided to make virtual reality an intricate part of their ongoing marketing and sales initiatives.
Front Light Building Company, Habersham, SC & Anne Hagerty Interior Design, Savannah, GA
The Client: Front Light Building Company and Anne Hagerty Interior Design are collaborating on a development located in Habersham South Carolina.
The Work: The clients requested a set of virtual reality tours to illustrate three design styles in a single home. Each tour was designed to show three options for a single luxury home.
How The VR Tours Were Used: The virtual reality tours are used by Front Light Building Company as a marketing tool. The illustrations help prospective clients seeking luxury homes experience a life-like walk through of the design. Anne Hagerty Interior Design uses the VR tours to sell home furnishings found within the tours on their website.
The Result: Front Light Building Company is using the VR tours to attract investors, and developers who are looking to have these homes built for them on their land.
Client: Kiawah Island Partners - Marsh Walk Development, Charleston, SC
The Client: Kiawah Island is a renowned oceanfront luxury resort located 21 miles south of Charleston, South Carolina.
The Work: Kiawah Island Director of Marketing Director Bill Houghton commissioned Village Features to create a virtual reality tour of a luxury home in a new development.
How The VR Tours Were Used: The virtual tour was designed for Kiawah Island residents attending a golf tournament and music event featuring country music performing artist, Darius Rucker. Currently, 50% of new home sales come from homeowners who own existing property on Kiawah Island.
The Result: Prospective buyers experienced the luxury home from four vantage points including, the exterior porch, the second-floor terrace, the living room in the master bedroom suite. Residents who experienced the virtual reality tour had difficulty believing that the home was not yet built.
